Evaluation Criteria

Experts will be asked to evaluate all proposals following the evaluation criteria and sub criteria mentioned below. Weights will be applied to all evaluation criteria,

  2. Excellence
    1. Weight 50%
    2. Quality and credibility of the research/innovation project; level of novelty, inter/multidisciplinary and gender aspects
    3. Quality and appropriateness of the training and of the two-way transfer of knowledge between the researcher and the host
    4. Quality of the supervision and of the integration in the team/institution
    5. Capacity of the researcher to reach or re-enforce a position of professional maturity
  3. Impact
    1. Weight 30%
    2. Enhancing the potential and future career prospects of the researcher 
    3. Quality of the proposed measures to exploit and disseminate the project results 
    4. Quality of the proposed measures to communicate the project activities to different target audiences 
  4. Quality and efficiency of the implementation
    1. Weight 20%
    2. Coherence and effectiveness of the work plan 
    3. Appropriateness of the allocation of tasks and resources 
    4. Appropriateness of the management structure and procedures, risk management 
    5. Appropriateness of the institutional environment (infrastructure) 

 An overall threshold of 70% will apply to the total weighted score. When the total scores are equal, priority will be based on the scores received for individual evaluation criteria.
